Important
This AUP applies to all users of Botvee.ai. Violation may result in immediate account termination without refund and, where appropriate, reporting to relevant legal authorities.
Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy defines permitted and prohibited uses of the Botvee.ai platform operated by BOTVEE (PRIVATE) LIMITED. It protects the platform's integrity, ensures fair access for all users, and ensures compliance with applicable Pakistani law, EU law, and international regulations. All users of Botvee agree to this AUP upon registration.
Permitted Uses
Botvee is designed for legitimate business automation. Permitted uses include:
- Creating AI agents for customer support, lead capture, and business automation for lawful businesses
- Deploying AI agents on your own websites, applications, or business platforms
- Training AI agents using your own lawfully obtained business content (product info, FAQs, policies)
- Collecting lead information from users who have given informed consent to data collection
- Integrating Botvee with lawful third-party business tools and platforms
- Using Botvee APIs for legitimate business application development
Prohibited Uses
3.1 Illegal Activities
- Any activity that violates applicable law in Pakistan, EU, UK, or your jurisdiction of use
- Money laundering, terrorist financing, or any activity prohibited under Pakistani AML/CFT regulations
- Circumventing applicable sanctions or export control laws
- PECA 2016 offences including: unauthorised access, cyberstalking, electronic fraud, sending offensive content
3.2 Fraud & Deception
- Creating AI agents designed to deceptively impersonate real people, businesses, government agencies, or financial institutions
- Phishing — collecting sensitive information (passwords, financial credentials, OTPs) through deceptive AI agent flows
- Running fraudulent schemes, scam operations, or pyramid/Ponzi schemes
- Generating or distributing disinformation or intentionally false information — including in violation of PECA 2016 Section 26A (amended 2025) which criminalises intentional dissemination of false information (penalty: up to 3 years imprisonment and/or PKR 2 million fine)
3.3 Harmful Content
- Generating or distributing content that promotes, incites, or facilitates: violence, terrorism, hate speech, or discrimination on the basis of race, religion, gender, ethnicity, or other protected characteristics
- Creating AI agents that produce, share, or direct users to child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any harmful content involving minors — severe criminal offence under Pakistani and international law
- Producing content that facilitates or promotes self-harm or suicide to vulnerable individuals
- Cyberbullying, online harassment, or stalking of any individual
3.4 Privacy & Data Violations
- Collecting personal data from end-users without a lawful basis, appropriate consent, or clear disclosure
- Processing sensitive personal data (health, religion, biometrics, financial) without explicit consent and appropriate safeguards
- Collecting personal data of children under 13 without verified parental consent
- Sharing, selling, or unlawfully disclosing personal data collected through Botvee AI agents to unauthorised third parties
3.5 Platform Abuse & Technical Violations
- Attempting to gain unauthorised access to Botvee systems, other users' accounts, or any connected systems
- Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract source code from the Botvee platform
- Conducting automated attacks: DDoS, brute force, API flooding, or SQL injection attempts
- Uploading malware, viruses, ransomware, or any malicious code to the platform
- Circumventing platform rate limits, usage restrictions, or subscription controls
- Systematic scraping of Botvee's platform, data, or interfaces without written permission
3.6 Intellectual Property Violations
- Uploading or using copyrighted content without authorisation or a lawful basis
- Training AI agents on scraped content in violation of the source website's terms of service
- Infringing patents, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of third parties
3.7 Professional Advice Without Disclaimers
- Deploying AI agents that provide medical diagnosis or treatment recommendations without clear disclaimers and appropriate human oversight
- Providing legal advice through AI agents without licensed legal professional oversight and appropriate disclaimers
- Providing financial investment advice without regulatory authorisation and required disclaimers
3.8 Spam & Unsolicited Communications
- Using Botvee AI agents to send unsolicited bulk messages or spam
- Harvesting email addresses or phone numbers for unsolicited marketing without consent
- Violating applicable anti-spam laws: Pakistan E-Transactions Ordinance, EU ePrivacy Directive, CAN-SPAM, CASL
AI-Specific Obligations
- You must disclose to your end-users that they are interacting with an AI system, not a human — required by EU AI Act, UK AI regulation guidance, and California SB-1001 (AI Agent Disclosure Act)
- You must not use Botvee to create AI systems deceptively designed to make users believe they are speaking with a human
- You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of your AI agent's responses and configured knowledge base
- You must not train AI agents on data obtained through illegal means or in violation of data subjects' privacy rights
Pakistani Law Compliance
Users located in Pakistan or using Botvee for services directed at Pakistani users must additionally comply with:
- PECA 2016 (amended 2025): all provisions including Section 26A prohibition on intentional dissemination of false information
- Electronic Transactions Ordinance 2002: requirements for electronic contracts and communications
- Consumer Protection Act 2019: consumer rights and fair trading obligations
- Competition Act 2010: prohibition on anti-competitive practices
- FBR digital invoicing requirements for applicable businesses
- SBP payment regulations where AI agents facilitate financial transactions
Enforcement
6.1 Consequences of Violation

6.2 Appeals
If you believe your account was suspended or terminated in error, email legal@botvee.ai — Subject: "AUP Appeal — [Account Email]" within 14 days of the action. We will review and respond within 10 business days.
6.3 Reporting Violations
Report suspected AUP violations by other users to: support@botvee.ai — Subject: "AUP Violation Report".
Updates
Botvee may update this AUP to reflect new platform capabilities, legal requirements, or abuse patterns. Material updates communicated with 14 days' notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
