The Knowledge Base is everything your agent knows. Quality here decides answer quality everywhere else.

What you can add

• Website pages — enter a URL and Botvee discovers every page, you tick the ones to train
• Documents — PDF, DOCX, TXT, CSV uploads for manuals, price lists and policies
• Products — synced automatically from Shopify or WooCommerce
• Google Drive files — connect a folder and new files train themselves
• Manual entries — type an answer directly for anything not written down yet

Adding a website

   Open Dashboard → Knowledge Base

   Paste your website URL and start the scan

   Review the discovered pages

   pages already trained are marked so nothing duplicates

   Select the pages you want and start training

Managing what is in there

• Filter by type — Total, Products, Webpages, Others
• Duplicates — Botvee flags near-identical entries so you can clean them out
• Merge — combine several documents into one cleaner source (select at least 2)
• Storage meter — shows how much of your plan’s storage you have used
• Delete and retrain any source at any time

How training works

Your content is split into small passages and indexed. At reply time the agent retrieves only the passages relevant to the question, which is why specific, well-written pages beat one giant document.

Best practices

• Start with Home, Pricing, Services and FAQ — they answer most questions
• Remove outdated pages instead of leaving contradictions in place
• Never keep two different prices for the same thing
• Retrain after any pricing or policy change
• Use Playground to confirm the new answer before customers see it
